The Candlelight Bar is a modern 1920's speak easy style late piano bar with music on Friday and Saturday, with a centre piece of a baby grand piano, plays host to some fantastic musicians and goes til late.

It is a clandestine cocktail bar where you can sip bespoke concoctions made by a team of award winning mixologists. Its potent mix of creativity, theatre and use of precise techniques, fresh fruit and juices, home-made liqueurs, syrups, bitters and infusions makes this a destination!

Candlelight Bar boasts a fantastic unique cocktail selection which has been commissioned especially by award winning mixologist and Bar Manager Darren Geraghty, comprising of over 40 unique potent concoctions- something for every pallet. And just recently Candlelight has been crowned, Winner of the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards Best Cocktail Bar in Leinster 2016.  Candlelight Bar has also been crowned Best Cocktail Experience in the RAI Awards for 2017!

The atmosphere is relaxed yet opulent with candlelight and sultry decor harking back to the 1920s.  Sip one of their classic cocktails with a twist, like Candlelight’s take on the classic Mojito- the "Thaijito" which incorporates a blend of Lemongrass and Basil into the mixture or try a Bathtub Gin Time, a gin infused concoction mingled with citrus, rose, lavender and elderflower tonic served in a ceramic tub garnished with a rubber duck.

The warmth of the candlelight bar is a cosy place for groups of 2-300 people. Perfect for groups with several VIP areas or simply just to catch up and share meals with friends and family. It also has a grassed balcony with seating for alfresco dining and drinks.

And a new addition to the Candlelight Bar family for the summer of 2017, is Candlelight’s Secret Garden Bar, A purpose built pop up bar to compliment, Diarmuid Gavins Garden of Pure Imagination, located in Pembroke Square, in the heart of Dundrum Town Centre. 

Offering an array of interesting potations, libations, cocktails for all tastes, ice creams (grown up cones- alcohol inspired ice-cream syrups, Hendricks gin syrup with fresh cucumber, Kopparberg Raspberry syrup with fresh raspberry and Manhattan cocktail sauce with Maraschino cherries and even classic 99’s), beers, Kopparberg ciders and a whole lot more!
